DIY Body Scrub with Muditã Essential Oil Blends
Making your own natural body scrub with aromatherapy essential oils is a fun and easy DIY project that can help you exfoliate your skin, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.
Here's a simple recipe to get you started:
Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar (white or brown)
1/2 cup of carrier oil (such as coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil)
10-20 drops of your favorite Muditã essential oil blend there is 8 to choose from
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar and carrier oil until well combined. The consistency should be thick, but spreadable.
- Add 10-20 drops of your chosen Muditã essential oil blend and mix well. You can add more or less depending on how strong you want the scent to be.
- Store the mixture in an airtight container, such as a mason jar or plastic container. It will keep for several weeks at room temperature.
- To use the body scrub, wet your skin in the shower or bath, and then massage a handful of the scrub onto your skin in circular motions. Be gentle, especially on sensitive areas. I don’t recommend using this on your face.
- Rinse the scrub off with warm water and pat your skin dry with a towel. Your skin should feel soft, smooth, and refreshed!
Note: You can experiment with different carrier oils and essential oils to find the combination that works best for you. Some people prefer using salt instead of sugar for a coarser scrub, while others like to add natural ingredients like honey or oatmeal for extra nourishment. Have fun and get creative with your DIY body scrub!
